2008 Conference: Build, Renovate, and Design for the Future

The 2008 Conference featured a variety of sessions on residential buildings, an in-depth review of ENERGY STAR programs, and examples of successful programs appearing across the country. Following a rousing opening from Larry Shirley of the NC State Energy Office, one of our state's leading experts, John Tooley of Advanced Energy, delivered as insightful keynote address.

2007 Conference: Saving the World One House at a Time

Featuring sessions on , the 2007 Conference continued a tradition of excellence. The Florida Solar Energy Center's Danny Parker filled the keynote slot, and was well complimented with featured presentations given by Sam Rashkin of the US Environmental Protection Agency and Steve Baden of the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET).

2006 Conference: Building the Future Through Building Science

The 2006 Conference featured sessions on Diagnostics, Green Building, Making It Work, and HVAC. The featured keynote in 2006, David Pressly, is both a North Carolina resident and the 2006 President of the 225,000-member National Association of Home Builders.

2005 Conference: Inaugural NC ENERGY STAR Homes Conference

The first installment of what has become a green building tradition - the NC ENERGY STAR Conference. The 2005 Conference featured sessions on Technology, Finance, Programs & Policies, and Design & Software. The Inaugural Conference provided the groundwork for a successful future with 17 exhibitors and a trio of high-profile keynote speakers - Philip Fairey III, Steve Baden, and Sam Rashkin.
